ECU - Updated with answers

Your Monday Photo Shoot: Take a picture of something in extreme close-up -- so close it's hard to tell what you're looking at. Ask people to guess. On Thursday, reveal what you've photographed.

Oh, I like these! I don't think I've managed anything as obscure-looking as last time, but the pictures themselves are interesting. What are these?

Not so colorful now

Yes, this is that wall John built outside the front door. He noticed recently that the paint and the wood are no longer flat and smooth. Also, the bright yellow has faded in the Arizona sun.

Reminds me of a song title.

I was thinking of Jethro Tull, actually. Not sure how I missed the Pink Floyd song, but it was stuck in my head all day after I read the comment!

Don't have one any more. Not since 1976, in fact.

Yes, it's a brick at the front door. I was intrigued by the little bits of rock.

Marie... 3 quilted fabric
Close. It's an oven mitt from Frontierland at Disneyland.

Retro

Carly... 4. Lamp shade

Marie... 4. vase or lamp

Wall sconce light in the hallway. The fixture is more or less brand new, but we bought it because it had a Midcentury Modern look to it.

Jammed.

Yelana... #5-- A CD or DVD player of some type maybe?

Carly... 5. Inside the computer where the battery goes.

Marie... 5. inside of a CD or DVD player

Marie got it. This is my broken CD drive, with the screw sticking up.

I'll probably try to stump you further tomorrow night. <--I did this, but nobody bothered to guess! Were they as easy as these five were?
