EMPS: Tweaking the Pizza

For this week's Ellipsis Monday Photo Shoot, Carly wants to see photos of pizza toppings. John had no objection to pizza for dinner, so I headed out to Safeway:

Safeway's fresh pizzas come in a variety of topping combinations.
From EMPS

When the pizza is store-bought, I almost always end up with Supreme. But that doesn't mean I have to limit our pizza to their paltry toppings.

The naked "Supreme" pizza...

...definitely needs more mushrooms!

After the mushrooms, but before the extra cheese.

It's ready!

Gooey but good!

And here's a bonus shot for you. One of our "carry-out" pizzas back in October was "topped" by an interesting box:

Be sure to check in with Carly at Ellipsis every Monday for the EMPS topic, and for links to the previous week's participating blog entries.

Hi Karen

I haven't tried Safeway's pizza yet, we almost always shop at Lucky's, but I have had Safeway sandwiches, and they are just delicious! I am going to try one after seeing them here. I love extra mushrooms on pizza, sometimes I get pizzas at Costco and add some different types of mushrooms from the produce department. :) Thanks for playing, gorgeous photos!

You must like mushrooms as much as I love sliced black olives! Your pizza looks very ooey-gooey-delicious, all right!

Wow, that looks DELICIOUS! Shoot, now I'm hungry for pizza! What a good take on this. I came up with nothing for this topic.

Thanks for your kind words on my sunset pic, btw. I really appreciated them.
