I think we get caught up in our work and our life, and we keep saying we're going to get a physical, and get a mammogram done, and scheduling an appointment seems like just a phone call away. In the course of a weekday, it's difficult for me to get to a phone and make that call, and when I finally do, I get chastised for taking so long. My BP is up a bit too; my doctor told me take fish oil twice a day (gel tab form) and walk after work. Yeah, I'm energized after work, c'mon! Give me another plan! I hope the swelling goes down and the pain disappears in your legs. Good luck with the stress test! I'm really concerned about you and I think you are not taking this seriously enough.

Please try to get some rest, avoid the stress and take better care of yourself.

That leg does not look good to me at all, but I am very relieved to know that there is no clot because it's the first thing that I thought of.

MAryanneGlobetrotterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07079682652900127410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19010648.post-1140739051681063962006-02-23T16:57:00.000-07:002006-02-23T16:57:00.000-07:00Hope you're doing better already, already!Would a ...Hope you're doing better already, already!

Would a few "poor babies" help? LOL Tyler saw the photo of your leg and said "Hey Mommy! That's your leg!" Uh yeah...it COULD be. Both my legs are swollen like that at the moment. I had the stress test and ultrasound of both legs last year. Doc offered a diuretic but made it sound like he didn't expect it to help much so I declined. My blood pressure is fine, so far. Lucky me. I have a referral for my sleep study. I just haven't scheduled it yet. If you tell me you have suspicious moles or a lump under your arm I'll just faint! LOL I also have to schedule a visit to the dermatologist to get my skin checked out. (Fair skinned and moley. Bleh.) Oh and my doc doesn't lecture me about my weight either. He said "You know the drill." Yep. I do.Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16689649366003513145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19010648.post-1140708667734633892006-02-23T08:31:00.000-07:002006-02-23T08:31:00.000-07:00When I had the crud this time last year I had a dr...When I had the crud this time last year I had a dream that I was in the waiting room of the PPTH clinic. House walked by and stopped at my chair. He looked at me with those gorgeous blue eyes and said "you have a cold. Deal with it." Then he moved on.

I suspect he would have at least seen you in the clinic and poked around on the ankle before ordering the same tests your doc did.

Seriously, I hope it all goes well for you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19010648.post-1140677989658604312006-02-22T23:59:00.000-07:002006-02-22T23:59:00.000-07:00So, what DO they think is wrong with your leg? I seriously don't know why I was so freaked by it that I kept putting it off. I'm glad I did it, though. And my heart's fine. And how IS your brother?Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17643693748026932502noreply@blogger.com
